In December 1975, George and Kathleen and their children moved to a house at 112 Ocean Avenue, a Dutch colonial-style mansion in Amityville, a suburban neighborhood in the south of Long Island, New York.Thirteen months before the Lutz family moved in, Ronald DeFeo, Jr.., The previous owner, have shot dead six members of his family in the house.
